All charitable contributions to PWRC (as opposed to membership fees) are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.   We encourage you to consider the Bethesda Center for Excellence (PWRC) when making your year-end charitable contributions.  PWRC is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Membership and coaching fees alone are not enough to keep us going.  Even if you or your children no longer take advantage of these membership benefits, please consider making a tax deductible donation to support our activities. 

Slalom canoe/kayak is a unique and beautiful sport that needs your financial support to survive in this country.  Unlike European clubs that receive government and commercial support, the Club (and US Olympians) rely largely on donations from private citizens.  We can't do it without your continued support.  With your help, the Club will continue to

- Organize and host local and national slalom races

- Maintain the slalom training course on the Feeder Canal 

- Support the US Junior, U23, and Senior National Teams

- Support the US Olympic Team

- Represent and advocate for support before the national governing body
